The Seasoned House

Identity for a unique event space.

Daiquiri Rock and Sara Joplin are new owners of The Seasoned house in Pullman, a fantastic old house they’ve rescued to become the town’s newest event center. Sections of the historic building have been restored and remodeled, while others retain their original character. Daiquiri and Sara plan to take this eclectic mix and combine it with the Victorian elegance of steampunk, with a modern simplicity. As a recognizable part of the Pullman landscape, the character of the house needed to be represented in the logo.

We used interpretations of the building’s architecture in the logo to find a balance between simplicity and steampunk with an almost art deco feel. We hope is that it marries the historic feel of the house with a more contemporary and polished simplicity.
